URGENT: FOSTERS NEEDED
We're in the middle of a real emergency here, folks. Just yesterday, we got a call from Morgan County Animal Control in Jacksonville, IL. Recently, they took in four Labrador Retrievers, two males and two females. These dogs were originally scheduled to be put to sleep at 1:00 p.m. today, but the wonderful staff of this rescue got in touch with us first, asking us to take these guys in so that they--finally--would get the homes they deserve.
The labs are being flown in from Pilots N Paws, and will be picked up by us on Thursday evening. After that, we need to find fosters for them until we have permanent homes ready. We're also looking for anyone that could possibly help us in acquiring veterinary care for these labs, as they'll need to be spayed/neutered, in addition to getting their necessary shots.
Though we wish we had the space to house them here until they are adopted, the fact is that we are not an official shelter, these are very large dogs, and we don't have the space to keep them here. If you have any questions about fostering the dogs or would like more information, please hit us up as soon as possible either by phone (773-907-0305) or email (famousfido_1@yahoo.com)
Thanks, everyone. We really hope to get these labs in a good home as soon as we can.

I am glad that these dogs will have another chance at a forever home. I am in Virginia, or I would do what I could to help out. Have you ever thought of doing your own shots? I have a show kennel with a lot of dogs, and it is definitely cheaper. Saving on shots could possible free up some of the funding for spaying and neutering. I am sorry that I don't live closer.
